Recently, my mother got remarried and we moved from our apartment in West LA out to this ranch in Mexicali.

He's a nice guy and all, but it's just so different from the city life I was used to.

I'm a couple hundred miles away from my old friends, and it's kind of hard getting adjusted.

It's really country out here, so it's not easy to fit in.

I started taking some classes at the local JC to try to meet some new people.
