This is a story of six women, a theatre, a play, springtime in New York, and what it is that men and women really want from each other.

That's me there, Wallis Green, doing some ********** research into American sexual behaviour.

It was a very exciting business, coming to New York to direct my first American play,

and before it was over, no, wait, I'm getting ahead of myself.
